Warehouse Manager – Commissary Facility
We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at our Commissary Facility in Anchorage, AK. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring product quality, optimizing distribution, and driving profitability. If you have strong leadership skills and a background in managing production and distribution, this is your opportunity to lead a vital part of our operations.
- Salary range : $68,000 - $80,000 (Depending on Experience).

Leadership & Workforce Management : Recruit, hire, train, and supervise employees to create a motivated and efficient workforce. Develop schedules to optimize staffing for production and distribution needs.Operational Management : Oversee production and distribution processes to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness. Maintain equipment and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Distribution & Logistics : Ensure accurate and on-time delivery of products to stores. Optimize routing and loading procedures while monitoring inventory to meet demand and minimize waste.Compliance & Safety : Maintain compliance with FDA, OSHA, and state regulations. Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety training.Financial Performance : Manage the facility’s budget to meet or exceed profitability goals. Analyze expenses and negotiate vendor contracts for cost-effective operations.Communication & Reporting : Provide regular updates to senior management. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to align operations with company objectives.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).5 years of management experience in a production or distribution facility (required).Experience managing a commissary, warehouse, or similar facility (preferred).Knowledge of baking and food distribution processes (highly desired).Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory / logistics management software.Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Must work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.Frequent exposure to varying temperatures, including freezers, coolers, and production equipment areas.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and climbing.Equal Opportunity Employer
