Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance their overall experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus for efficient order processing.
- A passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable experiences.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and required weekends.
