Location : Metlakatla, AK Plant / Barge
Position Overview
We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee salmon processing operations at our Metlakatla, AK Plant or Barge during the 2025 Summer Salmon Season. This is a great opportunity to grow with a leading seafood company.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and schedule production activities.
- Train, supervise, and manage production employees.
- Lead by example on the production floor, with hands-on involvement in freezing and packing salmon.
- Ensure product quality and compliance with standards.
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency.
- Handle crew scheduling and collaborate with HR to meet production needs.
- Maintain production records and provide regular updates on operations.
- Work under pressure, with long shifts (12 hours, 7 days a week during peak season).
