Circle is looking for a dynamic FP&A Director to support our Chief Product & Technology Officer and his leadership team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with department leaders to provide critical insights into budgets, forecasts, and key metrics that drive strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in preparing quarterly analyses and forecasts for the Board of Directors, working directly with the CFO to shape key financial narratives.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.
Base Pay Range
$190,000 - $242,500

What You'll Work On
- Partnering with Product and Engineering leaders to forecast key operational expenses, including vendor spend and headcount, during annual planning and quarterly board updates.
- Acting as a strategic thought partner to business leaders, helping them understand financial trends and prioritize initiatives.
- Design and implement a structured framework for resource allocation, ensuring financial efficiency, investment prioritization, and alignment with key initiatives.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to reduce variance in forecasts and improve insights into variance drivers.
- Leading the development of quarterly Board of Directors and investor-level financial presentations, working directly with the CFO to shape messaging and insights.
- Utilizing advanced financial analysis techniques to provide actionable insights on critical business challenges, empowering senior leaders to make data-driven decisions.
- Driving improvements in Circle’s finance capabilities, including participation in ERP and EPM implementation and finance process optimization.

- 12 years of FP&A experience, with a track record of leading operational expense budgeting across functions.
- 5 years of experience managing and leading teams.
- Expertise in financial systems and FP&A modeling within planning tools (Oracle, SAP, or Anaplan preferred).
- Strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and communicate financial insights effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel, leveraging these tools for meaningful financial analysis.
- Deep knowledge of GAAP accounting standards and experience working with dynamic three-statement financial models.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
- High emotional intelligence, empathy, and self-awareness, fostering collaboration and customer focus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA preferred).
- Passion and enthusiasm for blockchain technology and its transformative potential.
- Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.
- This position is eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates.
