You will also lead security risk assessments of blockchains, and provide security expertise and risk mitigation recommendations to various enterprise teams.What you'll work on : Leverage your technical understanding of various blockchains such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana etc to conduct blockchain security assessmentsEvaluate threat intelligence related to various blockchains and provide an impact assessmentEngage with blockchain engineering teams and provide security recommendationsDesign and enhance Circle’s blockchain assessment programPerform security assessments of a defined portfolio of Circle’s third parties and provide and track risk mitigation measuresMentor and coach junior team membersProvide metrics and reportingYou will aspire to our four core values : Multistakeholder - you have dedication and commitment to our customers, shareholders, employees and families and local communities.Mindful - you seek to be respectful, an active listener and to pay attention to detail. You reject manipulation, dishonesty and intolerance.What you’ll bring to Circle : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity or related fieldA technical understanding of a variety of blockchains - Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana are examplesAn ability to understand source code - e.g. Python, Rust2 years of working in blockchain security7 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology, or engineeringExpertise communicating security risk to both technical and non technical teamsAbility to take a deep dive into technical controls to determine control effectivenessExperience working in financial services or other highly regulated industrySelf-motivated; able to work independently and adapt to ambiguityCreative problem-solver; can recommend and implement changes to improve pre-established processes and proceduresCertifications such as CISSP, CTPRP, CISA, CISM, or similar will receive favorable consideration but are not required.Circle is on a mission to create an inclusive financial future, with transparency at our core.
