The Role
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for our components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
As a liaison between Manufacturing Engineering and other departments, you will ensure our processes meet stringent design and quality requirements.
- Create CNC programs using CAM software and support the evaluation and startup of new capital equipment.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, both on and off the shop floor, and lead Root Cause and Corrective Measures initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing methodologies like SMED and Kaizen.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5 years of experience (or equivalent education and experience).
Expertise in designing machine fixtures and creating repeatable manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and CAM (Esprit) software.
- Demonstrated success in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
