Title: Senior Recruiter
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Full Life Cycle Recruiter with 7 years of experience to specialize in recruiting top talent for roles within Engineering, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, Aerospace, and Supply Chain. This experienced recruiter will manage the full recruitment process, from sourcing to candidate placement, while building strong relationships with client sites and understanding their unique needs. Flexibility and adaptability are key in this role, as you will tailor recruitment strategies to suit each location/site’s ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Life Cycle Recruitment: Manage all aspects of the recruitment process for a wide range of roles, including positions in Engineering, Aerospace, Quality, Lean Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, and Continuous Improvement. Managing 15 Requisitions at a time.
- Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with business units sites, ensuring a thorough understanding of their hiring needs, culture, and operational requirements.
- Sourcing & Talent Pool Development: Use a variety of sourcing strategies (job boards, social media, networking, direct outreach, community involvement) to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for both technical and non-technical roles.
- Candidate Screening & Evaluation: Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit, providing feedback to hiring managers and recommending top talent.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers across engineering, aerospace, industrial manufacturing, and supply chain departments to define role requirements and ensure alignment throughout the recruitment process.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve recruitment processes to enhance the candidate experience, streamline workflows, and increase efficiency. Identify new tools, techniques, and strategies to attract top talent.
- Market Research & Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and changes within engineering, aerospace, manufacturing, and supply chain sectors, sharing relevant insights with candidates, and networking opportunities.
- Reporting & Documentation: Keep detailed records of candidate interactions, recruitment progress, and performance metrics. Provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all recruitment practices comply with relevant labor laws and company policies, while promoting diversity and inclusion throughout the hiring process.
Knowledge & Skills/ Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in full-life cycle recruitment, specializing in Engineering, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, and Supply Chain roles.
- Experience working in agency recruitment or as an in-house recruiter within industries such as Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain (required).
- Expertise in sourcing, screening, and placing candidates for technical and non-technical roles, including engineering, quality, supply chain, and continuous improvement positions.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using sourcing tools and recruitment technologies (UKG, Career Builder, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, other ATS systems).
- The ability to manage multiple requisitions, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines. Check in with candidates 30-60-90 days
- Visit sites (CA, NC, FL, MA, KY) to develop site relationships, manage req and understand ways of working/site and location (20% travel)-Required
- Strong interviewing skills and the ability to assess technical qualifications as well as cultural fit.
- Knowledge of labor laws, compliance standards, and recruitment best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present candidates and communicate effectively with clients.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7 years of full life cycle recruitment experience, with a focus on Aerospace, Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, and Supply Chain (preferred).
- Experience in agency recruitment or recruitment within industrial engineering, aerospace, and supply chain management industries is highly desirable.
