Sales Manager – Aftermarket (Business Development)
BUSINESS: Pumps Americas LLC.
LOCATION: Monroe, NC
DIRECT REPORTING: Director, Aftermarket Pumps Americas
FUNCTIONAL REPORTING: Sales
Position Summary
Manage and drive the aftermarket growth to achieve order/sales volume and profitability for all aftermarket products globally. Responsible for presenting Aftermarket spare parts, replacement pump, repair service, retrofit and/or upgrade opportunities. Develop capture strategies from foremarket OEM sales, identify and track the installed base to identify areas for growth and maximize the aftermarket entitlement. Support channel partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities to achieve revenue and margin targets.
Principal Activities
- Maximize revenues from the sales of the organization’s aftermarket products and/or services through channels and/or vertical markets.
- Leverage technical expertise in assessing existing equipment and recommending upgrades, maintenance, repair and other services and products to support customer goals.
- Develop strategy and pricing controls for quotations and service agreements.
- Establish and drive specific sales plans to implement new products, services and programs.
- Use the CRM platform to manage the sales process and provide accurate bookings forecasts to management for aftermarket opportunities.
- Provide other reports as necessary for driving growth, such as profitability, OTD, win rate, etc.
- Utilize technical knowledge, processes, computerized and non-computerized tools to assess the potential business opportunities of the company’s products and resources to meet customer needs.
- Identify the installed base, understand product life cycle and build proactive a sales plan that achieves business goals. Embrace & implement 80/20 strategy for profitable growth with our key customers.
Job Requirements:

- Experience handling sales of higher complexity.
- Aftermarket or closely related experience strongly desired.

Education And Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Business Administration, engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ sales and sales management experience.
- Prior AM Sales, Maintenance, Service experience is a plus.
- Understanding business processes and functions outside of sales and marketing, including finance, human resources, information technology, product development and manufacturing.
