The JTDC is dedicated to providing its youth with leadership, structured care, and supervision through a balanced approach of creative programming and services that teach responsibility, accountability, and sensitivity. Each member of the JTDC staff is actively encouraged and supported in pursuit of creative participation, personal well-being, and professional development.
As the largest juvenile detention center in the nation, the facility contains five major departments and various offices consisting of 600 employees who serve an average daily population of 280 residents.
The Systems Support Analyst will have a strong understanding of software applications, networks and systems, as well as excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. This position will be responsible for providing technical support to our end users, resolving application issues, participating in IT projects and assisting the Resident Management Systems Administrator.

This position will be responsible for providing technical support to our end users, resolving application issues, participating in IT projects and assisting the Resident Management Systems Administrator.
Typical Duties
- Supporting Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Offender360 (RMIS)), and Guardian RFID systems.
- Working collaboratively with the Resident Management Systems Administrator to test and implement new application solutions or updates.
- Analyzing problems and communication with end users to assess needs, define, determine and execute optimum solutions.
- Provides technical support as required for JTDC end users and support staff.
- Creates documentation for end users and technical staff.
- Coordinating technical meetings between government agencies and vendors.
- Participates in IT projects, including but not limited to hardware and software refreshes, upgrades, system integrations and new implementations.
- Maintain accurate up to date documentation of help desk tickets from ticket submission to issue resolution
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Safeguard confidential information and data.
- After-hours availability for critical IT emergencies or special projects.
- Provide coverage for IT Team staff in their absence.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Information Technology or Computer Science preferred.
- 2 years’ experience providing technical support to end users.
- 1 years’ experience developing/administering Microsoft Dynamics CRM required.
- 1 years’ experience developing web applications, web services, and .NET applications preferred.
- 1 years’ experience with SQL Server (development); SSRS; SSIS preferred.
- 1 years’ Microsoft Azure preferred.
- 2 years’ Microsoft Office Suite.
- 2 years’ Windows 10 operating system.
- Unite d States citizenship.
- 21 years of age at the time of application submission.

- Ability to communicate complex problems and solutions simply and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability in identifying technology related issues and suggestion for effective remediation.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and LAN/WAN technologies.
- Understanding of cloud hosted and on premise systems/solutions concepts.

- Illinois residency obtained within 90 days of date of hire.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check including but not limited to LEADS, CANTS, and professional references.
- Occasionally work unusual hours including evenings and weekends to respond to urgent requests or maintenance.
- A result of negative from the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) Child Abuse Registry.
