Who we are looking for: Circuit Media LLC is seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer for our partner in the federal government. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines. Experience in government regulatory design and concepting is a plus. The Graphic Designer will play a key role in creating visually appealing and accessible assets that align with the government agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be able to observe and follow agency corporate design Common Look and Feel policy for all communication products intended for external audiences developed.
- Design and create engaging and visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts for both digital and print materials, ensuring brand consistency.
- Direct the development of complex design projects and possess experience in conveying visual information effectively.
- Collaborate with multiple subject-matter experts to develop design concepts.
- Provide high-level design execution, knowledge of production processes, and attention to detail in design elements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, development, and content creators, to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies, bringing innovative ideas and best practices to the team.
- May supervise or review the work of junior designers or subcontractors as needed.
- Support design meetings, assist in project reviews, and manage records of design decisions.
- Work both independently and in a team environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum two (2) years experience working in creative design, graphic design, or other related field with demonstration of skills managing design projects, performing production projects, or other relative talent OR seven (7) years relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
- Ability to gain and maintain access to and travel to government agency locations or other work sites designated by government agency
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and best practices for designing across various devices and screen sizes.
- Ability to interact with engineers or project managers to understand and
- communicate design limitations; apply project knowledge and conduct research through discussions with technical specialists or other resources; and demonstrate expertise in a full range of design tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality designs.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in branding, concepting, or art direction.
- Specific experience with regulatory requirements for design submissions
- Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to design.

Salary Range: $60,000 to $72,500 annually. Dependent on relevant experience, knowledge, and performance.
