Who we are looking for
Circuit Media is seeking a Photographer to serve one of our federal government clients. This individual will work alongside cutting-edge professionals supporting the nation’s interests while providing photography services, including but not limited to journalistic, event, editorial, portrait, and product photos.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide photography services as needed and directed to include but not limited to:
a. Commercial photography for advertising/marketing collateral
b. Portraiture
c. Event and media photography
d. Product photography
2. Provide photographs electronically with proper titles, metadata, captions, and information for search and retrieval for communications and Creative Service staff to use as needed
3. Protect government equipment and information in accordance with policy
4. Provide support in an on-demand services format, which can range from zero (0) to forty (40) hours per week and fluctuate depending on the needs for services
5. Maintain an organized archive of images, ensuring all work is cataloged and accessible for future reference.
6. Stay updated on photography techniques and emerging technologies to improve skills and workflow.

8. The government provides camera equipment and peripherals needed for the work. The government shall retain all rights. The photographer will follow all policies before releasing photos outside the company.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Education in Fine Arts, Photography, or allied creative field
2. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with good communication skills
3. Demonstrate understanding of brand visual identity
4. Excellent photographic skills that use composition, light, and moments to make images in keeping with brand identity
5. Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, shoot, and edit photographs to ensure they meet publication standards
6. Experience with photo editing software, including but is not limited to:
a. Adobe Lightroom
b. Adobe Photoshop
7. Ability to model behaviors that reflect the organization's core values
Minimum Requirements
1. Be a US Citizen
2. Ability to obtain an L Clearance
3. Have a degree in photography, fine arts, or a related field
4. Provide a portfolio demonstrating photography experience and skills – highlighting editing experience and visual composition
5. Prefer Five years of experience in a related field
6. Online portfolio required
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
