Description : JOB DESCRIPTION

Coordinate the activities of on-site and remote engineering teams in the design, development, testing, and ongoing maintenance of products.
Ensure that projects follow and document internal design processes.
Ensure that released designs have appropriate documentation.
Manage a cohesive development team to meet aggressive project timelines.
Provide ongoing career mentoring and guidance to team members.
Coordinate and participate in design reviews.
Manage team workload between new product development and sustaining work deliverables.
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Project and Product Management to define requirements for new products.
Estimate cost and schedule to develop new or modify existing products.
This position reports to the Director of Design Engineering.

Requirements : REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 10 years of technical experience, preferably engineering.

Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.

Experience with products that includes power supplies, digital logic circuits, microcontrollers, FPGA’s, RF and analog circuits.

Experience with products that require EMI / EMC, FCC, thermal, surge, and other environmental qualifications.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, and members of the business community.

Excellent interpersonal skills, working with other engineers and managers.

Submit accurate and timely reports documenting activities to customers and management.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production documents, drawings, and related industry materials.
