Senior Electrical Engineer

We're partnered with a rapidly growing Communications Technology company based in Los Angeles, developing state of the art technology for Defense and Avionics applications
They're seeking an experienced Engineers with expertise in Digital Electronics Hardware Design to join their talented team! You'd be responsible for developing high-performance PCBAs for avionics applications. You'll drive the entire lifecycle—from design to deployment—collaborating with software, hardware, and FPGA engineers to create robust space communication systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and analyze board designs, selecting optimal components
- Capture schematics and design layouts for PCBs
- Conduct bring-up and testing of new hardware
- Coordinate with RF engineers to integrate analog and digital systems
- Ensure compliance with space-grade performance and reliability standards
- Optimize thermal dissipation in collaboration with mechanical engineers
- Streamline manufacturing and iteration processes with supply chain teams
Required Skills:
- Expertise in PCB design using EDA tools
- Strong grasp of electrical engineering principles
- Experience with Xilinx Zynq MPSoC (or similar)
- Proficiency in designing power architectures with complex sequencing
- Hands-on experience interfacing with multiple onboard chipsets (SPI, I2C, UART)
