SUMMARY
Circuitus Energy Solutions (CES), based out of Englewood, Colorado, is an employee-owned corporation with a unique culture and approach to construction. CES is seeking a Licensed Electrician for commercial and utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) projects. An organized, accountable individual with a desire to learn, strong work ethic and an ability to work well with others is required. The objective in hiring for this position extends beyond role specific requirements as CES is looking for innovative, self-driven team members to collaborate in building a healthy work environment.
The Electrician will be involved in the planning and implementation of commercial and utility scale solar projects. This position will report to the Field Operations Manager and/or the assigned Project Manager, when applicable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Read and interpret project specifications & drawings
· Perform layout
· Responsible for all tools and materials required to complete assigned scopes
· Prepare sketches of proposed work as well as producing layout drawings and code calculations when
needed
· Establish, adjust, and maintain work sequences to meet the construction schedule on assigned projects
· Install inverters, junction boxes, panel boards, disconnects, meter housings, switchgear and transformers
· Run and bend PVC, EMT and Rigid conduit
· Perform wire pulls of various sized and distances
· Complete insulation testing, labeling and terminations of conductors
· Support in the execution of electrical shutdowns for interconnection scopes of work
· Install, commission and troubleshoot data acquisition systems
· Ensure quality, code, and safety standards are met
· Staff electrical inspections
· May lead 2-3 apprentices if exhibits leadership skills
REQUIREMENTS
· Maintain an active Journeyworkers Electrical License
· Experience in building commercial and utility scale projects is a plus
· Working knowledge of National Electric Code
· Highly organized, versatile, and detail oriented
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Well-seasoned in time management & self-motivated
· Strong analytic skillset
· Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
· Management experience is a plus
· Physical presence on jobsites
· Proficient in G-Suite Applications
· Willingness to work overtime when needed
· Ability to travel & work remotely
· Collaborative mindset and a good attitude!
