SUMMARY
Circuitus Energy Solutions (CES), based out of Englewood, Colorado, is seeking a solar installer/electrical apprentice for commercial and utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) projects. An organized, accountable individual with a desire to learn and an ability to work well with others is required. This position will require an electrical apprenticeship license registered under CES. The objective in hiring for this position extends beyond role specific requirements as CES is looking for innovative, self-driven team members to collaborate in building a healthy work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce array layouts on commercial rooftops
- Work on commercial rooftops, carports and ground-mounted systems
- Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
- DC wire management, array bonding, and MC connector install
- Support in conduit installation and wire pulls
- Hand dig when necessary on underground conduit scopes
- Build according to code and standards, with reference to engineering drawings and instructions
- Maintain clean work environment
- Report to Crew Lead
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and strict adherence to company safety policies
- Specific daily responsibilities vary with experience and skill level
- Operation of heavy equipment once qualified
- Receive on the job training from licensed electricians and crew leads
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with hand-held and power tools required
- Experience in building solar PV projects preferred
- Ability to work on irregular surfaces, stoop, bend, reach, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally move and/or carry equipment weighing up to 60lbs
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Punctual, dependable and professional
- OSHA 10 Certification preferred
- Must have a clean and valid driver's license
- Personal means of reliable transportation to and from every job site
- Outside work may include inclement weather, proper attire required
- Team player with a good attitude and desire to learn!
- Travel required
