We are currently looking for a Spotter/Jockey Driver to join our facility in Normal, IL.
Job Summary
Spotter/Jockey Driver performs a general labor position, with moderate lifting, and consistent/repetitive actions. There will be sitting, standing and getting in and out of the truck all day.
Major Job Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to company’s safety plan
- Assist the Plant with Moving trailers in and out of docks
- Walk off trailers onto tipping floor
- Keeping truck clean and maintained
- Communicate with Dispatch, Single stream, and plant on Trailer Maintenance needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be able to lift/push 50-100 pounds
- Must be able to perform consistent/repetitive actions in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to climb in and out of the truck as needed.
- One year backing trailers preferred not required
