What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Operations Supervisor position at Circus Circus Las Vegas?
Specific Job Functions:
- Promote a customer-focused approach to meeting the customer’s objectives
- Practices effective cost control procedures for all operating, maintenance and supply costs
- Supervise store employees and their activities including floor coverage and breaks
- Assists with proper merchandising execution to maximize sales, earnings, and customer satisfaction
- Assists in developing floor standards, visual merchandising, customer service standards, and sales techniques
- Ensures Retail stores, Retail Distribution & Processing Center and Stock Rooms are neatly organized and meet retail standards
- Participate in folding and hanging clothes, redressing mannequins, maintaining stock on racks, shelves, glass cases and armoires
- Analyze the store business through company generated reports
- Enforces established policies, procedures, and job standards
- Trains team members on all store activities, policies and procedures
- Maintains an open line of communication with Store Manager and Director of Operations on coaching & development of team members
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the division
Qualifications:
- At least five years experience in retail sales preferred
- At least one year in a management position required
- Must have professional appearance and demeanor
