We are currently assisting our client with a Director of Sales search near Philadelphia, PA. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this position concentrates on maintaining business relationships, growing existing business, and developing new customers. The right candidate should be an impact player with a proven track record of accomplishments, understand the business implications of decisions, and display an orientation toward profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales stratagems to grow customer base while maintaining strategic relationships with key account holders and target customers
- Provide flexible guidance to adapt to constantly changing market environments
- Continuously increase market knowledge and provide necessary updates internally
- Gather external information on new products, competitors, challenges, and current product performance
- Create and maintain annually and running customer forecasts and provide timely reports to management
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required: MBA preferred
- 5 years of business development and sales experience in manufacturing
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- More than 40% travel
