We are assisting our client with a Director of Supply Chain near Cleveland, OH. Reporting to the Vice President of Manufacturing, the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to Master & Demand Forecast Planning, Purchasing, ERP System Management & Capacity Planning. This is a highly visible, high-impact position where a successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the future success and growth of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all resource planning related to Engineering and Manufacturing, while developing and managing the master schedule through the complete order cycle
- Management of managers within the business unit's supply chain
- Synchronize the flow of materials along the entire supply chain, while making decisions on the efficient utilization of internal Production, Engineering, and Supplier capacities
- Mentor and lead managers managing areas of the supply chain such as purchasing, planning, and inventory and working with them to handle material and production planning issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Experience planning and scheduling in a high mix/high volume environment preferred
- 10 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain (sourcing/procurement/demand planning/distribution/logistics)
- Management of ERP systems, including integrations
