Reliability Engineer

We are currently assisting our customer with a Reliability Engineer search near Louisville, KY. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, reliable and cost-effective operation through proper safe guards, operation and maintenance of plant equipment and facilities. This position will also be responsible for developing a robust preventative maintenance program.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain documentation for all preventive and predictive maintenance
• Support Maintenance and Operations metal forming and shaping equipment
• Oversee proper maintenance procedures are performed correctly regarding the equipment and facility
• Work in conjunction with Production during all capital projects
• Propose, plan, and install the necessary equipment to improve production efficiency and achieve cost reduction
• Ability to troubleshoot and determine root cause utilizing 8 step, 5 why and providing impactful counter measures to prevent recurrence
• Maintain inventories of maintenance material, supplies, and repair parts at required levels by initiating requisitions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, equivalent experience will be considered
• Prior experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Presence that reflects a hands-on, participative, proactive operating style
