What is this role?
As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician at Cirkul, you will be responsible for the manufacturing execution systems for equipment including, but not limited to: centerlines, Clean-Inspect-Lubricate(CIL), Defect Elimination, Breakdown Elimination, Workplace Organization(WPO)/5S, etc. You will work closely with engineering teams, production staff, and maintenance personnel to improve production workflows, troubleshoot equipment, and implement process improvements. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with the ability to solve complex manufacturing challenges to support the continued success of our operations.

- Driving Results: Support process optimization efforts to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
- Taking Ownership: Take proactive responsibility for maintaining production equipment and ensuring it is in good working order.
- Making Decisions: Apply technical knowledge to make informed decisions when troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions or production issues.
- Cultivating Relationships: Work cross functionally with automation engineering, operators, and maintenance.
- Instilling Trust: Ensure equipment is operating in a safe manner and within quality and food safety parameters.
- Customer Focus: Contribute to efforts that help the company meet customer expectations related to product quality, production timelines, and consistency.
What background should you have?
- 5 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience with various manufacturing equipment including packaging systems, filling systems, assembly systems, continuous motion systems, etc.
- Experience with execution manufacturing excellence systems including Centerline, CIL, Defect Elimination, etc.
- Experience with developing and execution training for operators and maintenance.
- Willing to work hard, stay until the job is complete, and demonstrate resilience.
- Have a positive attitude, willing to work multiple levels of employees, and thrive in a fast paced environment.
