What is this role?
As a Talent Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development with Cirkul. This role will contribute to the development, implementation and administration of company wide talent initiatives focused on driving organizational effectiveness, employee development and performance management.
What does an average day look like?
Driving Results:
- Partners in the design, development, coordination, communication, and reporting of development initiatives for employees throughout the company, with a focus on Manufacturing Operations.
- Creates instructional materials, such as training manuals, presentations, and multimedia content that are interactive and learner-centered for both instructor-led and eLearning programs.
Taking Ownership:
- Takes a proactive approach to problem solving and continuously strives to enhance training initiatives.
- Oversight of the administration of training programs, including but not limited to updating LMS course information, scheduling, and attendee tracking.
Making Decisions:
- Communicates with peers and subject matter experts on a regular basis with a consultative approach to ensure training goals are aligned across departments.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and metrics to measure knowledge transfer and performance improvement.
Cultivating Relationships:
- Collaborates with stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement innovative training solutions.
- Creates a welcoming and engaging learning environment focused on the employee while building rapport to encourage continued open communication.
Instilling Trust:
- Actively engages, coaches and educates leaders in the team effectiveness process including assessments, design and developing leadership meetings, team building and observations/feedback on team effectiveness competencies.
Customer Focus:
- Stays up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in learning and development to continuously enhance training programs.
- Fosters a culture of inclusive learning and continuous improvement that supports adult learning styles.
What background should you have?
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of experience in Talent Management and Learning & Development, with experience in basic instructional design
- Strong attention to detail with ability to work hands on and strategically with your team
- Ability to build relationships, trust, and communicate with all levels within the organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
