Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain an organized and clean bar area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Engage with guests to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure satisfaction with their drink selections.
- Manage cash handling processes accurately, including operating the cash register and processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate drink pairings with menu items during events or banquets.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new cocktail recipes to enhance the beverage menu.
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, particularly during peak hours in nightclubs or event settings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a hospitality or craft cocktail bar, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, cocktail recipes, and food safety regulations.
- Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
