Job Details
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our global IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure onsite and assisting teams across multiple international locations. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our systems, providing technical support to end-users, and collaborating with other IT professionals to support business operations and projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work effectively in a diverse and dynamic environment.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- System Management: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and network equipment.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of IT services.
- Security: Implement and manage security measures to protect data, systems, and networks from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
- User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support business operations and projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system performance and security.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role
- Minimum of three years’ experience providing IT infrastructure support, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM a plus
- Experience with Sage100, SAP, or similar ERP a plus
Physical Requirements
- Physical demands: Regularly lift 35 pounds and use of hand and wrists when typing information on keyboard. Must be able to twist, reach overhead, crawl, stoop, and bend to the floor. Occasionally lift 50 pounds.
- Hearing accommodation: Must be able to make and receive phone calls.
- Visual accommodation: Must be able to read written materials and instructions to communicate with co-workers and customers.
- Working conditions: Employee works in a clean environment with little exposure to fumes and dust. Work may occasionally be performed in a manufacturing type environment.
