Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within our distribution center, ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate order picking equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners to accurately fulfill orders.
- Utilize the warehouse management system to track inventory and manage order processing.
- Perform materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading products from trucks and containers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assist in inventory control by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the distribution center.
- Operate cranes as needed for specific tasks, following all safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and cranes safely.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
