Job Summary
Cirrus is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Journeyman level HVAC Technician to join our Duluth Facilities team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our facilities to support our operations.
Monday - Friday; 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm
Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- HVAC System Maintenance : Conduct routine maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure they operate efficiently and meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshooting and Repair : Diagnose and resolve complex HVAC system issues, including mechanical, electrical, and control problems. Perform repairs and adjustments as necessary to restore system functionality.
- Safety and Compliance : Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements while performing HVAC work. Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in codes and regulations.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance. Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings and recommendations to management. Interpret work orders and perform work with limited direction.
- Collaboration : Work effectively with other maintenance team members and departments to coordinate efforts and address any HVAC-related issues that impact operations. Provide technical direction and on the job
- Emergency Response : Be available for on-call duties and respond to emergency HVAC situations as needed, ensuring prompt resolution to minimize disruption
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Company vehicle driving requirements estimated at 10%; must have valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
