Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs and manages leasing strategy at assigned asset(s).
- Has an understanding of current and changing lease terms in the specified markets and can skillfully negotiate and prepare Letters of Intent for both renewing and new tenants.
- Schedules, coordinates and performs tours of potential suites to prospective tenants.
- Ability to foster relationships with brokers in the market to aide in leasing efforts.
- Develop and maintain market knowledge of the asset(s) and comparable assets in the market.
- Support lease contract related document preparations (LOIs, Leases, Amendments, Addendums) and possess a working knowledge of core lease provisions.
- Work closely with the asset manager and the property manager in regards to T.I. cost estimates.
- Liaison between tenants and property managers prior to lease execution.
- Uses solid organization skills and an eye for details, track and report on the leasing process to executive management on a weekly basis.
- Conduct credit checks, collect pertinent financial information and perform necessary due diligence on prospective tenants. Compiles and present to the executive staff.
- Coordinate with Executive staff and property managers for annual budget preparation.
- Maintain confidentiality
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- Proven track record of successfully completing challenging projects and managing multiple priorities.
- Negotiation experience, detail oriented and strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with clients, partners, tenants, managers and other professionals.
- Possesses quality writing skills; both technical writing and professional business communications.
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Passionate attitude, outgoing and focused work ethic.
- Maintains a cheerful, helpful and collaborative office atmosphere.
- Thrive off of team, pace and urgency.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- 2 Years of experience in commercial real estate leasing - Required
- Retail mall/ specialty leasing experience a plus.
- Licensed Real Estate Agent in Texas - Required
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe , Yardi and Yardi Deal Manager
Additional Information
Pay: $23 - $25 per hour with shared leasing commission opportunity
