Job Description
General functions of the Tax Credit leasing Agent:
- Processes tax credit applications and maintains accurate resident files.
- Works closely with the Community Manager and Assistant Manager.
- Processes re-certifications and renewals on time
- Ensures that all applicants and residents are in compliance with government regulations
- Assists applicants with the qualification process
- Creates and updates the wait list constantly.
- Completes any daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by Property Manager.
- Assists residents with work orders or any other issues in a prompt manner.
- Completes move-in walk through with new residents.
Qualifications
- 2 years of consecutive multifamily property management experience (Required)
- 1 years of Oregon affordable apartment experience (Required)
- Knowledge of Property Management software - preferably Yardi (Preferred)
- Knowledge of affordable housing/government programs in Oregon.
- Attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Understands and complies with state landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing laws
- Knowledge of Excel, Word Document, and Outlook
- Works well under pressure and maintains a positive friendly attitude
- Strong interpersonal skill. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse resident population. Spanish bi-lingual ability is a plus!
Additional Information
Pay - $21.00 Hourly
