CirrusLabs, a global leader in digital transformation and technology solutions, is seeking an Account Manager to manage and grow strategic accounts in the financial services and federal government industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology solution selling, excellent relationship-building skills, and experience interacting with decision-makers in these sectors. This position requires walking client floors, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored technology solutions to meet client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in the financial services and federal government sectors.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers by understanding their technology needs and delivering exceptional service.
- Actively walk client floors to identify new business opportunities and address client concerns promptly.
- Technology Solution Selling:
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' challenges and align CirrusLabs' technology solutions to address their business objectives.
- Present and demonstrate technology solutions, including software, infrastructure, and consulting services, to key stakeholders.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities to expand CirrusLabs' presence within assigned accounts.
- Meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets by developing and executing account growth strategies.
- Operational Collaboration:
- Work closely with CirrusLabs' delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and execution of technology solutions.
- Maintain detailed account plans, performance metrics, and forecasts for assigned accounts.
- Industry Expertise and Advisory:
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance on technology adoption and optimization.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales with a focus on technology solutions.
- Proven success in selling solutions to clients in the financial services or federal government industries.
- Experience engaging with C-level executives, IT leaders, and other decision-makers.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of technology solutions, including software, cloud, infrastructure, and consulting services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify and close sales opportunities, negotiate contracts, and drive account growth.
- Other Requirements:
- Availability to work onsite at client locations in Richmond, VA, or McLean, VA.
- Ability to walk client floors frequently, engaging with stakeholders in person.
- Familiarity with the technology procurement process within the financial and federal sectors is highly desirable.
