Position Summary:
The Assistant Supervisor is responsible for motivating the team to achieve production and quality goals while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires effective communication across shifts, adherence to safety and quality standards, and collaboration with management to maintain production schedules. The Assistant Supervisor will also play a key role in resolving production issues, identifying training needs, and fostering a team-oriented work environment. 3rd Shift 10:30pm-7:30am

The Assistant Supervisor will also play a key role in resolving production issues, identifying training needs, and fostering a team-oriented work environment. 3rd Shift 10:30pm-7:30am
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess risks and seek assistance from the Production Manager/Supervisor as needed.
- Ensure all safety guidelines are understood and strictly followed.
- Resolve production problems and document issues for discussion with Management, Engineering, and Quality teams.
- Recommend operational improvements to the Production Manager/Supervisor.
- Provide and receive employee feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Identify training and cross-training needs and ensure training records are up to date.
- Promote team participation and collaboration.
- Review production schedules with supervisors and work toward meeting shipment deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Document and communicate material transactions to Production & Inventory Control to support accurate inventory counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area according to established procedures.
- Possess the authority to halt production in out-of-control situations, coordinate problem resolution, and reallocate resources as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a progressive manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience in a Contract Manufacturing Operation (CMO).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective leadership.
- Experience in a fast-paced production environment with high-quality standards.
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
- Adherence to safety protocols and company policies is required.
- This is an on-site position; remote work is not available.
