- Problem Identification and Root Cause Analysis:
- Identify recurring incidents, analyze their causes, and document the findings in Problem Records.
- Known Error Database (KEDB) Management:
- Maintain the KEDB, ensuring it's up-to-date with information about known errors and workarounds, according to IT Process Wiki.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work with Incident Management, Change Management, and other teams to resolve problems and implement preventative measures. Keep stakeholders informed of problem status and progress.
- Problem Resolution and Closure:
- Implement solutions for problems, ensuring they are fully resolved and documented. Close problems properly after successful resolution.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze lessons learned from past incidents, identify areas for improvement, and implement preventative measures to minimize future disruptions
