MEDICAL ASSISTANT- 1099 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR (NO BENEFITS)
Qualifications & Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant (Required)
- ****VERY BUSY OFFICE, POSITION IS BACK OFFICE, ROOMING PATIENTS, VITALS, MED HX, INJECTIONS, FAST PACED, CONSTANTLY ON YOUR FEET. 50 patients per day average. If you are not used to working in a back office setting with this volume of patients on a daily basis, and go-go-go from the moment you walk in the door, this is not the position for you.****
- Must be willing to commute between both office locations:
- Location 1: 1361 13th Ave. S. Suite 245 Jacksonville Beach, FL. 32250
- Location 2: 3627 University Blvd. S. Suite 300 Jacksonville FL. 32216
- Schedule: 9:00am-5:30pm
- Mondays: Rotating BCH/UNIV
- Tuesdays: University Office
- Wednesdays: Beach Office
- Thursdays: University Office
- CPR or BLS (Preferred)
- Prior experience working in outpatient pulmonary/critical care medicine (Preferred)
- Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred)
- Prior knowledge using eClinicalWorks EMR (Preferred)
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and demonstrate enthusiasm.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
