What You'll Do:
As a Senior Engineer for Simulation & Automation, on the Cisco 8000 team, you will be responsible for leading, implementing, and optimizing simulation software and tools used in accelerating our IOS-XR & SONIC development. You will work with Silicon One ASIC, SDK, and Network software teams to create digital twins of our router and AI fabric products.

You will be part of a fast-paced work environment, responsible for revolutionizing our software development process through application of cutting-edge simulation technology.
Who You Are:
You are a passionate engineer with proven ability to deliver complete software projects with minimal supervision, leveraging technical knowledge and collaborating to solve issues in a multi-functional organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors with 7 years' experience Or, Master's with 2 years' experience in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering in implementing and deploying simulators or related tools and infrastructure.
- Experience with C/C programming.
- Experience modeling ASIC's and NPUs.
- Experience in python/scripting languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of virtualization and related technologies
- Good understanding of networking protocols
- Linux networking knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging and analytical skills
- High level of work autonomy and sense of responsibility
