What are the responsibilities and job description for the Onboarding Experience Manager position at Cisco Systems?
The Security Business Group (SBG) Customer Success team is looking for an Onboarding Experience Manager to run our onboarding program and new hire experience as our organization grows.
Additionally, the Onboarding Experience Manager is the owner and face of our onboarding program - everything from welcoming new people as they join our organization to reporting on success metrics and iterating and improving the program overall. The training & enablement content will be focused on new hire onboarding as well as our continued learning programs.
You will create community and belonging among individuals across multiple expertises and locations.
Prioritize materials and schedules, optimizing for community and scale.
Balance consistent outcomes with equitable delivery.
Written and verbal communication for both native English and English-Additional-Language audiences.
- Preference is in the Ann Arbor, MI location as this is a hybrid role.

This role will collaborate with People Leaders across our department to ensure each new team member gets access to all relevant materials, receives a consistent, high quality onboarding experience, and is set up for success in their new role.
Who You Are
Be the welcoming, hardworking face for new members of our organization SBG CS deploying existing program framework for individual new hires and their unique needs.
Establish, coordinate, and enforce standard start dates
Regular communication with HMs & recruiters for quarterly schedules and planning
Develop onboarding program that support new SBG Products
Create & manage cross-product-team events & awareness for new hires
Team with hiring manager and mentors to ensure individual success
Ensure programmatic success through regular measurement & reporting
Be a phenomenal teammate
Minimum Requirements:
Professional experience in an office environment
Experience supporting long-term (multi-quarter) project execution
Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
Strong time management (especially in supporting a team across multiple time zones)
Community-building experience a plus
Experience working in a hybrid (remote and in-person) environment

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
Salary : $97,300 - $123,000
