What You'll Do
You’ll be part of our friendly and collaborative Go-to-Market PMO team who strive to ensure successful partnerships are fostered for alignment on project-deliverables for committed outcomes. You will partner with cross functional partners to bring new product introductions to our customers and partners and manage projects through their product lifecycle.
In this role you will -
- Guide program management of new version product features from design through to launch, engaging cross functional team to deliver impactful customer/partner experience
- Supervise multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached by coordinating and delegating cross-project initiatives
- Solve sophisticated problems and take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions
- Apply expert knowledge to resolve frictions impacting interdependencies between product development life cycle and field delivery
- Build and manage project teams and work back schedules, ensuring quality control throughout projects involving integration with cross-Cisco teams
- Scope and manage results, timelines, resources
- Manage day-to-day relationships and collaboration with key cross-functional collaborators across product-engineering, marketing, UX, customer-support-experience, legal, etc.
- Identify and resolve risks and dependencies, including identifying contingency plans
- Effectively communicate status, changes, and dependencies to applicable collaborators throughout the project
- Lead cross functional meetings
- Make recommendations for improvements in project management and execution process
Who You'll Work With -
You will collaborate and partner with the product leadership team and peers in other departments and organizations including product engineering, offer engineering, marketing, UX, customer support and experience, legal, etc. You will also collaborate and engage with other service and support groups across Cisco.
Who You Are -
You are experienced in GTM product launches and the software product development lifecycle. You have experience leading worldwide cross-functional, collaborative environments, quickly adapt and respond to changes in those environments. You are an excellent communicator, problem solver and analytical-thinker, and have ability to elicit cooperation from executives and across multiple customers. You have a "roll up your sleeves" demeanor to drive successful outcomes.
You possess systems analysis skills from prior experience in software development, customer account management or business process management that allow you to understand and identify critical integration aspects of product release schedules. You are a detail and purposeful technical program manager achieving excellent business results with minimal hand-holding. Ideally you have knowledge of and experience with Cloud, SaaS and have worked in an Agile environment. Finally, you enjoy figuring out how to find and put the puzzle pieces of the program together!
Basic Qualifications-
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of strong project management knowledge and tools.
- 3 years of program management experience.
- 2 years proficiency in requirements analysis, project office operational procedures and management of large and small-scale product development and launch projects.
- Proficiency in project-management software, collaboration tools, and SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with worldwide customer-facing SaaS programs including product release.
- Ability to partner with senior-level management to create and present the business-case for new product projects and develop fully integrated launch plans.
- Ability to research, plan, prioritize, navigate translation of strategy to tactical delivery model, conflict-management and organizational development.
- Excellent organization, time-management, and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
