We are seeking a Solutions Engineer - Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will drive the adoption of our AI infrastructure solutions across various industries. You will identify potential clients, understand their specific needs, and provide tailored solutions that enhance their business operations. This position requires a deep understanding of AI infrastructure technologies and experience in conveying technical concepts to a diverse audience.
Who You’ll Work With
The Cloud AI Infrastructure team delivers a scalable strategy with localized execution for data center customer transformation and growth. We serve as the Americas go-to-market engine for compute and data center networking, capturing market transitions and enabling sellers to expand customer growth for Cisco. Working alongside our colleagues, Cloud & AI Infrastructure develops sales strategies, activates sellers and technical communities, and accelerates the sales process.
Who You Are
You will build awareness, foster education, and drive enthusiasm for AI among internal team members, external partners, and other stakeholders. You will serve as a crucial link between technical teams, account teams, executives, and partners/customers. Additionally, you will showcase Cisco AI infrastructure solutions, highlighting their potential and promoting their tactical and technical benefits. You will play a vital role in the design, development, and promotion of AI solutions, addressing any challenges that arise. Travel will be required as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 6 years of technical presales experience selling Data Center and Hybrid Cloud solutions including Compute and Data Center Switching.
- Deep understanding of Data Center network and compute architectural designs.
- Deep knowledge of Data Center enterprise applications, virtualization technologies and operational toolsets.
- Excellent presentation skills - ability to deliver engaging workshops to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience; advanced degree is a plus.
- Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP or CCIE)
- Knowledge of Cisco Nexus, ACI and UCS solutions.
- Understanding of AI architectures and infrastructure products.
- Experience designing Converged infrastructure and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions.
- Proficiency with automation tool sets (Ansible, Terraform) with a strong focus on DC switching and compute.
- Foundational software development skills e.g. Python
- Demonstrates proactive leadership with a team-oriented attitude.
- Self-starter who can lead opportunities without close supervision
- Hold a continuous learning philosophy, able to navigate ambiguity and complex customer challenges.
- Ability to go on frequent business trips within the U.S. and to Europe

Salary : $202,900 - $242,200
