The Mechanical Sourcing team is searching for an exceptional individual with a blend of mechanical and thermal knowledge to join our ranks. In this role, you’ll play a key part in formulating and executing strategic sourcing initiatives that will shape our product offerings. This is a global position, providing opportunities to engage with suppliers across the world and influence our sourcing strategy on an international scale.

Your Impact
Supplier Selection and Value Optimization : Drive supplier engagement, negotiation, and selection to secure the highest quality mechanical and thermal components that align with Cisco’s stringent standards for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation : Partner with Cisco's suppliers, engineers, marketers, and quality teams to drive innovation in mechanical and thermal solutions, integrating sourcing strategies that push technological boundaries while meeting product timelines and budgetary goals.
Team Engagement : Join a close-knit, high-energy team that includes experts with diverse talents and interests. We value each other’s unique contributions and foster an environment of mutual support and growth.
Minimum Qualifications
Five plus years of experience in the mechanical and / or thermal industry, with an understanding of relevant manufacturing processes and procedures.
BA / BS degree, with at least 5 years of experience in a technical or commercial field.
Five plus years of experience negotiating complex deals, ensuring competitive advantage and high satisfaction for Cisco’s customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Executive-level influence : Experience working effectively with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to drive alignment and decision-making.
Team-oriented and people-focused, with strong interpersonal skills to inspire collaboration across diverse groups.
