Responsibilities of a Alignment Technician entail:
- Work with the Foreman to determine reparability and to prioritize tasks of the job
- Test vehicle for faulty wheel alignment
- Diagnosing and repairing steering/suspension issues
- Visually inspect parts after processing for defects.
- Identify nonconforming or defective components and take appropriate corrective action
- Perform routine maintenance on polishing machines, including daily cleaning and routine lubrication
- Maintain or exceed efficiency goals
No prior Body Shop experience is necessary, but other requirements include:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and DOT medical card
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 150 pounds
