Responsibilities of a Parts Inventory Control Clerk entail:
- Receive and input parts data into the inventory system
- Contact vendors to follow up on credits and resolve issues
- Allocate freight charges to customer orders
- Manage inventory control system
- Code invoices
- Process part returns to vendors
The requirements to be a Parts Inventory Control Clerk include:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School diploma or GED required
- No experience required
- Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 10 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
