What are the responsibilities and job description for the Avionics Technician II position at Citadel Completions LLC?
Purpose:
Under minimal supervision, assists in the removal/installation of avionics electrical components, fabrication of wire harnesses, installations, terminations, ring-out, and functional tests of avionics/electrical systems.
Essential Job Functions:
- With some supervision: Installations, modifications, and the fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, engineering drawings.
- Skilled at reading diagrams and manuals.
- Assists in troubleshooting.
- Maintains required logs and records.
- Completes tasks within allotted time frame.
- Ensures that work accomplished meets applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
- Checks all work and ensures a defective free assembly prior to final inspection.
- Complies with the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program and all safety regulations.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area.
- Competent in the following:
- FAA Knowledge of Regulations.
- Use of Hand tools.
- Interpret Engineering Drawings.
- Use avionics test equipment.
- Use maintenance manuals.
- Observe Safety.
- Observe FOD procedures.
- Use Ground Support Equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance.
- Soldering.

- Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by management.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications or Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Three (3) years of accredited schooling in aviation or 3 years related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills (English).
- Computer skills and general software knowledge.
- Must report for assignment with personal set of standard trade-specific tools.
Preferred Qualifications or Experience:
- Valid FAA Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
- Experience in VVIP/VIP custom aircraft interior completions.
- Completion of General Familiarization Training on current fleet types being maintained or modified by the Repair station.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No Supervisory responsibilities.

- Must know how to use multimeter. Entry level position.
