The Email and Digital Media Marketing Specialist is the voice of the company through our digital channels. In essence, the Email and Digital Media
Marketing Manager is the digital storyteller, via varied platforms, that must have the ability to articulate the Citarella brand and voice. The most
important aspect of this role is being able to think "online/virtual customer first."
The overall goal of this role is to use digital media, email and SMS to create and raise brand awareness, create and engage new customers, reintroduce
existing customers and tell the "Citarella story" both locally and nationally.
They are responsible for working with the marketing team, partners and agencies as well as cross functional teams in ecommerce and IT. This team
member will partner with the Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Manager, Marketing Director and Marketing Manager to develop and implement the
company's digital media marketing and email plan including raising brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and cultivating leads and sales. They are
responsible for continuously generating content for the company, creating new ideas and campaigns and measuring their effectiveness using analytic
tools, and supporting and executing all digital media activations, and email programs and automations.

Some Highlights Would Include
- Working directly with Ecommerce and Digital Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager and Marketing Director on all marketing programs with an eye on driving store and web traffic.
- Developing, scheduling and managing digital/email marketing initiatives
- Leading email marketing automation strategy (journey’s) to create on-going engagement and increased conversions
- Strategizing personalized email and SMS campaigns based on specific segments such as purchasing behavior and frequency
- Creating a unified and cohesive customer experience by integrating email and SMS marketing with other marketing channels.
- Measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI & KPis) using analytics and conversion rates and any other resources available
- Identify and analyze industry trends and insights, competitor development, make recommendations based on activity
- Conducting competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
- Brainstorming new and creative growth strategies to drive successful business goals
- Gain and maintain full understanding of our product offering, history and customer to identify target audience and growth opportunities
- Increase email subscribers, launch SMS subscribers, expand online traffic and e-commerce sales on Citarella.com. Recommend changes to website where and when necessary
- Maintain a thorough understanding of SEM, SEO and make any recommendations as needed for such. This should include any recommendations, implementations and optimization of paid campaigns
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company's digital content
- Communicating and collaborating with internal departments/staff to create and achieve marketing goals including promotional and in [1] store event tie-ins
- Collaborate with agencies, vendors, and other Company partners for marketing and digital media projects/purposes
- Marketing or Communications Bachelor’s Degree Required
- 3-5 years’ experience working in digital marketing
- Familiar with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Internet Browsers, etc.
- Experience with a variety of digital media website analytic tools and channels including Google Analytics (GA4), Meta, TikTok, Twitter, Google, YouTube, and LinkedIn etc., experience working with Magento and Dotdigital a plus
- Knowledge of SEO & SEM best practices
- Knowledge of email platforms, segmentation, customer journeys and automations required
- Understanding of paid media strategy and experience implementing various digital tactics driving positive ROAS.
- Basic knowledge of web design and web development
- Ability to work flexible schedule. Hours may include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, may be required to lift weights of usually 5 – 30 pounds.
- Experience in the food industry is a plus
