Responsibilities:
- Primarily focused on working with properties that are operated by other companies (Outside Operated).
- Be part of a continuous improvement environment to bring efficiencies to the process of obtaining and loading the production volumes from outside sources.
- Monthly analysis of production volumes; month-to-month variances, trend analysis, other analysis as required.
- Communicate the results of the analysis to leadership across the organization.
- Develop, broaden and utilize technical skills in production accounting by seeking direction from more senior professionals and by attending appropriate training sessions.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of production accounting experience
- 1-3 years of oil and gas experience preferably onshore production
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced role
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools with emphasis on Excel and Access
- Ability to analyze, prepare, and reconcile daily/monthly hydrocarbon production
- Well-developed written/verbal communication skills with ability to interface effectively with staff at all levels and across multiple functions (Operations, IS, Finance/Accounting)
- Knowledge of IFS Production Accounting Systems preferred (ProCount, Carte)
Education:
High school diploma or GED, four-year college degree a plus.
