What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouseman/Driver position at CITCO Water?
The Truck Driver's primary responsibility will be to deliver products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. Must have solid understanding of all inventory items. This position will also support warehouse functions of receiving, material put away, order picking, etc. Will support in warehouse 5s maintenance activity.
Essential Functions

- Picks, ships, loads, and receives all CITCO Water materials and equipment
- Performs all CITCO Water shipping and receiving functions, to include the preparation of receiving reports, shipping documents, freight documents, including Bills of Lading and writing of orders then necessary
- Operates sandblaster and related equipment
- Operates Tow Motors, Rig Trucks, or any other company owned materials handling equipment
- Drives company trucks to deliver or pick up merchandise at customer or supplier locations
- Makes minor mechanical repairs to trucks and performs routine maintenance to keep equipment in good working order
- Collects money, and accounts for payments received
- Provides excellent customer service during pickup and delivery operations
- Maintains all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
Travel
Daytime travel in company vehicles expected to service customer and supplier accounts.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience
- Complete knowledge of CITCO Water equipment, materials, and inventory
- Class B CDL with HAZMAT and tanker endorsements, and any other DOT requirements necessary for the company to operate its business
- 1 or more year(s) of experience as a truck driver
Preferred Education and Experience
- 3 years of prior warehousing experience preferred
- Class A CDL with HAZMAT and tanker endorsements
