Job Summary
This position is on-site in Downers Grove, IL with the Refinery Controls Department. This position serves to primarily support the ordinary expense (operations and routine maintenance) costs incurred during the year. Starting with supporting the budget development, position serves to help analyze, forecast and report costs such that management is aware of budget variances, trends and year-end performance throughout the year. Position serves to provide timely and predictable information to support required changes to achieve desired outcomes. Position also serves to support other Refinery Controls areas of responsibility including capital cost forecasting, Outline Agreement management and SAP requisition entry, Solomon data collection support, compliance program analysis and reporting, etc.
Expected salary range $85,000-$115,000

Minimum Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of cost analysis, forecasting and reporting
- Detailed knowledge of cost accounting and SAP
- General knowledge of refinery construction activities
- Advanced computer skills relating to Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills
- Capable of working with little supervision, i.e., self-motivated
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of job-related experience required
- In lieu of degree, 9 years of experience in petroleum, chemical power or heavy industry is required
Job Duties
Support Lemont’s ordinary expense (routine maintenance and operations cost centers managed by Maintenance) yearly budgeting process and subsequent variance analyses versus actuals
Support Lemont’s ordinary expense cost analysis, forecasting and reporting, including :

Support Lemont’s Tank Maintenance Program including cost budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis across all expense types (ordinary expense and capital)
Support Lemont’s Outline Agreement (OA) management including SAP requisition entry
Support Solomon activities as assigned by Project Controls Manager
Support other related duties as assigned by the Refinery Controls Manager
