- Overall responsibility for worksite safety and operations.
- Monitoring various pressures, levels, flows, and temperatures using specific instrumentation and gauging.
- Performing basic maintenance activities.
- Education/Experience
- Associate Degree in Process Plant Technology (preferred) with a minimum of a 2.5 GPA/4.0 scale in major, OR
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in process unit operations or as a journeyman-level craftworker required.
- Must be willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Must be willing and able to climb ladders/work in high locations, lift up to 100 lbs., work outdoors, and wear Self Contained Breathing Apparatus equipment.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credentials Card).
- TWIC Eligibility Requirements: The Maritime Transportation Security Act requires all persons who will need unescorted access to regulated facility to have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), issued in accordance with the rules established by the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration. Candidates selected for employment must meet eligibility criteria to obtain a TWIC card. - Must successfully complete assessments, background checks, and medical exams.
