Job Description
We are looking for a skilled school social worker who can develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement in the virtual learning environment. This includes monitoring student participation, providing interventions to support consistent attendance and active involvement, and offering crisis intervention and support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement in the virtual learning environment.
- Monitor student participation and provide interventions to support consistent attendance and active involvement.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Connect students and families with community resources and services, including mental health support.
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify and address student needs.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
