Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager for its Tampa, FL location.
Duties: Design and develop new strategic solutions for the Electronic Trading Group under the Global Spread Products Organization. Design a low latency, high performance, highly efficient system to handle large data volumes. Collaborate with other teams to create and manage interfaces with other systems to facilitate high volume fast gateways which can supply trades, Market Data, Request for Quotes (RFQs), and Financial Information eXchange (FIX) messages. Communicate with external third-party entities and internal sub-teams to create and maintain the dataflow pipeline. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in the Information Technology or Financial Services industry. Six (6) years of experience (or four (4) years in the alterative with a Master’s) must include: Utilizing Java primitive data structures to develop Zero garbage collection and high throughput code for creating low latency systems; Developing and enhancing back-end components which use open-source standards including EDI and FIX to exchange data for trading and other processing systems; Integrating SpringBoot to develop functional microservice components; Utilization of Jenkins to perform Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for quick turnaround of development cycle; Integrating Sonar and BlackDuck scans to analyze and identify code issues and vulnerabilities; and Developing back-end components which use messaging frameworks including Apache Kafka, Tibco EMS, WebMethods and Solace for the exchange of different types of data message forms.
