What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset Service Associate Analyst - Hybrid position at Citi?
The Intermediate Analyst is an experienced incumbent who performs identification, analysis and announcement of corporate actions/legal notifications, and will also be involved special projects and ad-hoc assignments as needed. Supports the development of new techniques and streamlining of processes and manual touch point reduction.
Responsibilities:
- Must have an aptitude for detailed writing, and reading of financial documentation and corporate actions literature/investor publications
- Must possess critical thinking abilities and a proven aptitude towards process improvements
- Provides creative solutions to reduce errors and to ensure adherence to audit and control policies
- Train new team members
- Manage and complete special projects as assigned
- Manages daily operational activities and work with manager to ensure workflow completion in fast-paced-deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, problem resolution, and diplomacy skills are required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or commensurate industry experience)
- 2 years of financial industry/securities operations experience
- Technically skilled in Operations experience a plus.
- Demonstrates excellent analytical, risk prevention and judgment skills.
- Able to facilitate discussions, challenge technology teams, and prospectus issuing agents, and present concise recommendations to management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail, time management and problem solving skills.
- Team player
- Must be fluent in Portuguese/English
