The Assoc Ops Sup Analyst is an entry level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; document collection, record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Additionally, the Assoc Ops Sup Analyst serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:
- Perform document collection of any/all loan documents required for various Small Business products.
- Ability to work 1-1 with Bankers and Credit Officers.
- Perform quality control checks by reviewing loan documentation for content and accuracy to verify alignment with policy and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with all Bankers (Sales Team), Credit Officers, senior leadership team, and other various internal business partners as necessary.
- Ability to develop a solid understanding of Citibank Commercial Banking products and services - within Business / Commercial Banking and the broader organization.
- Responsible for routine operational or administrative work.
- Day-to-day actions are focused on reviewing approved Business Banking applications with approval amounts between $1 - $10MM using defined procedures and checklists.
- Responsible for assisting/completing procedural updates as necessary to ensure compliance with policy and regulations.
- Other duties as required to support business unit and company goals.
- Assist in training team members on loan resources as well as provide testing assistance for production validation and host release/Continuity of Business (CoB) testing.
- Review project requirements to ensure timelines are met and the quality meets and exceeds customer expectations.
- Assist with the creation, execution, and validation of User Acceptance test plans and scripts to ensure enhancements go into production in a timely and accurate manner.
- Research and interpret standard information and identify inconsistencies in data or results.
- Prepare basic presentations for management.
- Support business unit goals by continuous identification of process improvements and efficiencies aiding to reduce costs and improve customer service levels.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Knowledge of Business Banking, Citi Commercial Banking Products and Services
- Comprehensive knowledge of Business Entity Types and Beneficial Ownership
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proven problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Excellent organizational skills, strong multi-tasking capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to complete assignments within required deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong inter-personal and written / verbal communication skills
- Pro-active disposition with ability to work independently and within a team
- Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
