The Associate Banker SAFE Act LO is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within their field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in their job and the business. Recognized as a technical authority for an area within the business, this role requires basic commercial awareness and developed communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. The role has a significant impact on the area through complex deliverables, providing advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. The work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function / job family.
Responsibilities :
- Partner with Banker in the creation of sales and marketing strategies designed to generate revenue growth and acquire new target clients.
- Conduct new client / prospect research, generate leads, develop prospects, and coordinate client events.
- Organize pre-call planning, maintain all client call records including call reports.
- Introduce Citi’s value proposition to incoming employees at target firms.
- Cultivate relationships with firm employees to source leads and referrals for new business.
- Leverage relationships to understand client needs and deepen Citi’s relationships with existing clients.
- Construct and execute marketing campaigns around our unique and tailored product offerings.
- Work closely with Investments, Credit, Cash Management, and Financial Planning teams to source opportunities and prepare client pitches.
- Provide complete service support to clients, including solving complex client inquiries.
- Assess risk in business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
